Greetings Lucille Brown Middle School Family!
Message for 1-26
UPDATE: The IB transition meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening has been moved to Wednesday evening at the same time. The Principal's Coffee on the same subject will still take place Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m.
Good evening Lucille Brown families, this is Mr. Morris, the principal with some important messages this week. First, please remember that this week concludes the second nine weeks and also the first semester. There is no school for students on Friday the 30th. It is a teacher work day to complete grades. The boys basketball team is home on Tuesday against Elkhardt and at MLK on Thursday. Also, the Panther Cheerleaders are in citywide competition at John Marshall High School Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Another big event this week is the second whole school IB information and input session Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.. We will start with an overview of the IB programme for those unfamilar with IB, then present new information regarding our transition plan and listen to your concerns and wishes for the transition as well. The same information will be presented again at the Principal’s Coffee on Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. We hope to see you at one of these events this week. Have a great evening. Goodnight.
