Greetings Lucille Brown Middle School Family!
mid week: 2-24: Good evening, Lucille Brown families, this is Mr. Morris, the principal with a couple of important mid-week messages. First, tomorrow evening is our Black History Celebration and History Night from 6:00 to 7:30, we hope you will join us. Also this week, please look in backpacks for several items coming home. First, for students needing extra support in math and English. Our intervention assignments are being sent this week. These include permission slips that need to be returned by the end of the week. Also, all students will bring home flyer on our next round of free art classes that begin next month. In addition, thanks to our PTA, all students will be given the Lucille Brown student directory, which includes contact information for all families who opted to share that information. That’s all. Thank you, and goodnight.
2-22: Good evening Lucille Brown families, this is Mr. Morris, the principal with a couple of messages for the upcoming week. We are working to reschedule some missed events from last week, including the field trip to The Virginia Repertory Theatre and the Maggie Walker play for all of our students by Theatre IV. This week, however, we are still in full swing with our Black History Celebration and History Night both taking place Wednesday night from 6:00-7:30, and we hope you will join us for that. We also have of field trip on Thursday to see the motion picture Semla. All students are welcome to attend, and we have extended the deadline for permission slips, so your child can sign up Monday or Tuesday for that. Permission slips are in the main office. That’s it for this week. Thank you and goodnight.
