The mission of the Henderson Middle School Counseling Program is to provide comprehensive services that empower all students to reach their highest potential. There are many programs that operate in conjunction with the School Counseling Department, including tutoring, mentoring, and extra-curricular clubs. These programs and others are described in detail in the Clubs, Sports, and Extracurricular Activities section of this website. For more information regarding how to get involved in any of these programs, students should see their grade level school counselor.

School Guidance Counselors

School counselors are certified educators trained in school counseling and educational issues. As school counselors, we collaborate daily with administrators, parents, teachers, staff, and community partners. It is our job to advocate for our students.  We are directly involved in their academic, career, and personal-social progress and success. We bring opportunities to them that enhance their ability to be a productive member of society.
