Collision Repair and Painting

AUTO STRUCTURE REPAIR I AUTO102 $375

In this course, students prepare vehicles for repairs including removal and installation of fenders, bumpers, trims, head and door liners, locks, handles, fascia, headers, doors, tailgates, deck lids, hatches, and hood. Interpreting information from damage reports, planning repair sequences, selecting appropriate tools, and organizing removed parts for reinstallation are also included. Emphasis is placed on returning all vehicles and their component to OEM (Original Equipment by Manufactory) standards. (2 semester - 150 hours).

AUTO BODY STRUCTURE REPAIR II AUTO 103 $375

Continuation of body structure I, students prepare vehicles for repairs including removal and installation of fenders, bumpers, trims, head and door liners, locks, handles, fascia, headers, doors, tailgates, deck lids, hatches, and hood. Interpreting information from damage reports, planning repair sequences, selecting appropriate tools, and organizing removed parts for re-installment are also included. Emphasis is placed on returning all vehicles and their component to O.E.M. (Original Equipment by Manufacture) standards.(2 SEMESTER- 150 HOURS)

Auto Body Repair - The course prepares students for entry-level employment and advanced training in collision repair technology. The course will provide students with the fundamentals used in the body repair industry. The course will cover the following areas of repair for auto body: sanding, primer application, sheet metal damage repair, fiberglass and plastic repair. The core classes for I-Car will be includes for those students interested in a career in collision industry. (2 SEMESTERS-150 HOURS.

AUTO FABRICATION & WELDING I AUTO 222 $375

Fabrication and Welding - Students will practice automotive industry welding standards. This class involves automotive fabrication and welding safety skills includes; MIG, TIG, GAS and Electrical resistances spot welding.(2 SEMESTERS-150 HOURS).

Fabrication and Welding - Students will practice automotive industry welding standards. This class involves automotive fabrication and welding safety skills includes; MIG, TIG, GAS and Electrical resistances spot welding.(2 SEMESTERS-150 HOURS).

AUTO PAINTING I AUTO 322 $375

Finishing - This course will provide students with the fundamentals of preparation, metal treatment and painting by industry standards. This course will cover the following areas of auto painting; color matching, panel spot blending, pin striping and overall refinishing (2 SEMESTERS- 150 HOURS).
