Innovation and Creativity: “The Foundation for Achievement, Action and Accountability”   

Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year!  We are so excited about this new school year where teaching and learning through innovation and creativity will be our primary focus. ACDC is an alternative school that serves a diverse population in which the ages of students range from infants to senior citizens. We offer 10 programs and serve as an official GED testing site.  Each day our teachers provide quality instruction that promotes twenty-first century readiness skills in an environment where every student is given the tools to achieve their individual goals. In addition to quality instruction, ACDC provides wraparound services through counseling and behavior modification, parental involvement, support services, and community involvement.

Mission Statement

The Adult Career Development Center provides basic academic and vocational skills to youth and adults who have left the traditional school settings and who desire to complete their education. The Center provides instruction and supportive services in a multi-service, one-site delivery system. The aim is to provide a learning environment conducive to students' progress and their ultimate success.
