Our Mission

The mission of the Richmond Public Schools Department of Human Resources is to provide effective personnel administration program for the school division. The primary function is to assist in the delivery of an effective and efficient educational program for all children. To that end, the staff of the Department of Human Resources is dedicated to the employment of quality personnel. The staff is committed to providing a strong support system for all employees that is predicated upon School Board policies and Personnel rules and regulations.
