The Heart of America foundation and over 75 volunteers from Capital One and the Westover Hills community devoted a great deal of time and energy in the fall of 2007 at Westover Hills ES recreating and renovating the library. Improvements include a newly designed primary reading room, 1000 new books, a new and improved teacher work area and an updated mini-studio/library workroom!

In the fall of 2008, Heart of America and Capital One once again worked their magic and the lucky school media center was the one at G.H. Reid Elementary. New furniture, new computers, new books, a beautifully designed media space with reading quotes and a marvelous hand painted mural on the walls were just some of their handiwork. Once again, they helped to create a space that is exciting, inviting, and innovative! Thanks, Heart of America, and thanks also to Capital One!
